Harlem Career Lab, in partnership with Lending Hands Tutoring, provides personalized academic support for students who need additional guidance, want to strengthen foundational skills, or simply want to stay ahead. Our tutoring program focuses on building confidence, encouraging independent learning, and helping students achieve lasting academic success in a supportive environment.
SUBJECTS WE SUPPORT
Our programs target the skills that show up in grades, in tests, and in confidence. Sessions meet after school and on Saturdays.
Mathematics
Build stronger problem-solving skills, number sense, and confidence through personalized instruction tailored to each student's learning level.
Reading
Improve fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking while developing a lifelong love of reading.
Literacy
Strengthen writing, grammar, spelling, communication, and foundational literacy skills that support success across every subject.
English Language Learning (ESL)
Build confidence speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English through personalized instruction designed for English language learners at every proficiency level.

FLEXIBLE TUTORING SESSIONS
Monday – Friday 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Tutoring begins with registration and scheduling confirmation. Please submit an inquiry before making a payment. Harlem Career Lab will confirm the student’s needs, subject, service format, schedule, availability, and applicable price before sending payment instructions. A parent or legal guardian must submit inquiries, complete registration, and authorize services for participants under 18. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through this website.
